Vocation: After my military service and prior to going to college, I was a lab technician in three different companies in Florida, Mississippi, and Texas.
After obtaining my education, I served as Minister of Education in churches in Texas, Alabama, and Florida.
For fourteen years I served as the pastor of Calvary Chapel of Pensacola before retiring in 2005.
Future goal: To help individuals step out in courage, through my writing and teaching, so that they can achieve the potential for which God has designed them.
Movies Linda and I like: All the Hallmark’s, Dances with Wolves, Robin Hood, all the old Turner Classic movies. (I know, that dates us)
Books: (Fiction) Those of Ted Dekker, Steven James, Jim Rubart, Frank Peretti, and too many others to mention. (If you’re in Savannah, check out the Book Warehouse. You can come away with a sack full of books without breaking your bank)
(Nonfiction) All the books by A.W. Tozer. My favorite is The Pursuit of God.
The Beach: Linda and I love the white fluffy sand of Pensacola Beach and the blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
